Terms and Conditions
**Inquire about a Charcuterie Board & String Lights:** If you are interested in adding a Dessert Charcuterie Board or String Lights to your bonfire, please send us an email info@beachsidebonfires.com Prices vary based on party size!
**Beach Bonfire Permitting:** The cost of ONE beach bonfire permit is included in our package pricing. The fire department only issues a certain number of permits per night, per access. Therefore, permitting is limited and not always guaranteed. Beach bonfire permits are NON REFUNDABLE OR TRANSFERABLE, rain or shine. Permits are first available 2 weeks before any specific date. Due to high demand, we will attempt to secure your location asap and if your location is unavailable, we will secure the next best location for you based on your shared preferences.
If your reservation is booked within two weeks of your desired date, your bonfire permit will be purchased once payment and signatures are complete. If we are unable to pull the access of your choice, we will contact you to go over alternate location and date options.
**Additional Terms & Rules:** Customer assumes all risk to personal injury, lost, damaged, or stolen items. Customer is responsible for their guests conduct and any items not allowed on the beach. Guests use of equipment is used at the guest's risk. Beachside Bonfires LLC acknowledges that the equipment has been inspected and determined suitable for the purpose in which it has been leased. The guest shall only use the property in the manner for which it is designed and intended to be used.
The county has strict rules we must adhere to. These rules will affect our business ability to provide any service if any of the rules are broken. These rules must be taken seriously to enjoy the best possible experience with our team and the county code enforcement officers. Rules: no glass on the beach, no artificial lights on the beach (without SPEV), no exploding items such as confetti, no floating lanterns, no extra fire sources, no food vending on the beach including food delivery services (without SPEV), no fireworks, do not burn anything other than firewood.
**Gratuity:** Tipping your attendant is never expected, but always appreciated. 100% of all gratuities are paid to the attendant responsible for your reservation.
**Cancellation Policy:** Should you have to cancel your beach bonfire reservation, please let us know 72 hours prior
to your reservation by calling 850-842-1600 or emailing beachsidebonfires@gmail.com. All bonfires include a $250 non-refundable deposit. If you decide to cancel, a refund will be granted minus the deposit. Cancellations within 72 hours before your bonfire's start time are subject to the following charges:
1. 72 Hours - Cancellations made WITHIN 72-48 hours of reservation - 50% nonrefundable.
2. 48 Hours - Cancellations made WITHIN 48-24 hours of reservation - 75% nonrefundable.
3. 24 Hours - Cancellations made WITHIN 24 hours of reservation - 100% non-refundable
**Rescheduling:** Once scheduled, changing your date or access will require a $125 bonfire permit fee. Please review our refund and cancellation policies. Refunds do not include the deposit.
**Weather:** Unfortunately, weather can be unpredictable, especially on the beach. Due to the nature of outdoor events, please note that we cannot refund simply based on weather conditions.
If you wish to move your date due to any type of weather, we must be made aware at least 24 hours before the originally scheduled bonfire and note this is subject to availability. Moving your bonfire date is not guaranteed, but we will certainly do our best to find a location/date that's most accommodating to you.
It is the guest's responsibility to communicate with Beachside Bonfires of any decision regarding weather before 24 hours. Without any communication given, Beachside Bonfires will carry on with the same scheduled date + time. If weather does affect the scheduled time, our attendant will be willing and prepared to adjust/wait accordingly. Our #1 goal is to host your fire and provide a great experience.
**Turtle Nests:** Turtle nests may pop up throughout the year, and specifically during the nesting season of May - October. Should a turtle nest block your beach bonfire use, we will move your beach bonfire location if another location/date is available. Moving due to turtle nests does not grant a refund if new location is not suitable to customer.
**Fire Dept. Cancellations:** Fires can be cancelled due to burn bans or "unsafe conditions" executively decided by the Fire Dept. In this scenario, there will be two options for guests to choose from: a refund minus the deposit (including additional permits) or a full credit for a different day (new permits will be required to purchase). We will do our very best to accommodate a new date. This applies to burn bans exclusively.
**Insufficient Beach Space:** While it's unlikely, sometimes weather can reduce the amount of space available on the beach. If the beach access does not allow our bonfire pit to be setup AT LEAST 50ft from the dunes or 30ft from another bonfire pit, we are required to cancel the event, even day of. In this case, we will do our very best to accommodate a new access or new date to choose from. If one cannot be agreed upon, a refund minus applicable deposits + fees will be issued.
**Changes to Your Reservation:** We will be as accommodating as possible, however, please note: same day changes can be difficult, especially in peak season. We ask that you communicate any changes or add-ons AT LEAST 24 hours before your fire. Same day add ons and/or requests are NOT guaranteed.

Due to the preparation involved for each event, within 24 hours, there are no refunds. If you desire to move the date and the final decision to do so is communicated by noon of the event date, we will assist in finding a new date and time to host your bonfire! In this case a $125 bonfire permit fee + any applicable special event permit fees will be required to re-book. Refunds will not be issued for the total amount if guest cancels again outside of 24 hours from the new date chosen. Please contact us with any questions or concerns. We are happy to help and be as flexible as we can.
**Special Event Permitting:** Walton County requires additional permitting for parties with 30 or more people (including children). Special Event permits are non-refundable or transferable, rain or shine. Walton County only issues ONE special event permit per night, per access, so they are NOT guaranteed. In the event that a permit is not available for your preferred access, we will give you alternate options and/or dates.
SPECIAL EVENT PRICING (non-refundable)
- 1-29 people - $200
- 30-50 people - $350
- 51-75 people - $700
- 76-99 people - $1200
- 100+ people - $1,500

If your party has grown in size AFTER you have booked and paid, we will have to add/update a special event permit to your reservation. We will charge the additional amount when the permit is approved. If the event permit is unavailable for purchase, we will go over additional location and/or date options with you. If you wish to cancel your event, you will receive a full refund minus the deposit + permits + cancellation fee (see cancellation section).
Any special events of 30+ people require a 50% non-refundable deposit due upon booking (based off the total amount). If your party has over 30 people and you fail to correctly notify us, we reserve the right to refuse service, even same day. No refunds will be issued in this circumstance.
**Private Home/Access:** We do service private beachfront properties based on availability, accessibility, and county authorization. Due to the complexity and exclusivity of set up, ALL beach bonfires at private beach front homes will be subject to a $125 service fee. This fee will be added to your invoice upon booking.

**Holidays:** We can book on any major holiday except for July 4th. Due to the nature of holidays, we are shorter staffed and locations are limited. Each reservation is subject to an additional charge a $100. This holiday fee applies to ALL fires booked on the day of holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, NYE, etc.) This $100 goes directly to your attendant.

**Photo Release:** Please note that when booking with Beachside Bonfires, you authorize and grant Beachside Bonfires to take photos regarding your experiences with them and use those for any social and promotional purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and any other online platforms or websites. Beachside Bonfires holds the right to edit, alter, copy, or distribute the photos for social media and advertising. All photos are property of Beachside Bonfires.

**Gratuity:** Tipping your attendant is never expected, but always appreciated. Should you choose, gratuity can be added onto your invoice or with cash on site during your reservation. 100% of all gratuities are paid to the attendant responsible for your reservation.
By purchasing our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understand the terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them.
